The Teton Wilderness sits right in-between Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks and is more restricted than the National Parks. Nothing mechanized is allowed in the Teton Wilderness, meaning no vehicles, bikes, chainsaws, or many other modern luxuries. This has left this country wild and pristine and foot or horseback are the only ways to access it. This also means we use very old and traditional ways of getting food, gear, and equipment into our camps; everything that enters and leaves the wilderness is packed on the sides of mules.
Our summer camps are very traditional yet comfortable. Set with spacious spring tents fitted with cots and comfortable pads, these tents provide a very relaxing space while in the wilderness. We also set two large open-air flys. Our professional trail cook prepares all of our meals under one. Under the other, we set a table and chairs for our clients to enjoy and dine (if not out around the fire).
Day-to-day activities are completely up to the group. There are endless day rides to lakes, waterfalls, and swimming holes, fly fishing, day hikes, or just relaxing around camp. We will always be there to take you wherever you would like to go.
